Who we are
This website is operated by Matte Intelligence Inc., 1130 rue Sherbrooke Ouest, Montréal (Québec), a digital venture built on the experience of Matte Groupe conseil. Personal-information protection is overseen by Yan Matte, founder and chief executive. Questions about privacy can be sent to admin@matteiic.com, which also serves as our privacy contact point.
What we collect
We collect only what is necessary for the purposes below:
- Contact details you choose to send us (name, email, phone, organization) when you write to us;
- Candidate materials (curriculum vitæ, career information) submitted voluntarily for executive-search mandates;
- Engagement data collected under a client contract (assessment notes, coaching records);
- Technical logs generated by our hosting provider for security and availability.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiries; to perform executive-search and coaching engagements; to keep the site secure. Automated analyses may assist our professionals in preparing research and documentation, but recommendations and decisions remain human-reviewed and human-signed.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal information. Current service providers: Cloudflare (hosting, DNS, email routing), Google (fonts). As AI processing is introduced, Anthropic (Claude API, no-training Commercial Terms) will be added to this list, and this page will be updated before any real candidate data is processed.
Location and transfers
Data is hosted in Canada at rest. Where inference or other processing may occur outside Québec (for example through AI service providers), the assessments required by Quebec law are completed first, and this page will describe them.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above and for applicable legal obligations; files related to a mandate follow the retention terms agreed with the client.
Your rights (Québec)
Under Quebec privacy law you may request access to your personal information, request rectification or deletion, withdraw consent where consent was the basis, and lodge a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec. To exercise these rights, write to admin@matteiic.com.
Cookies and tracking
This website currently sets no advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
Changes
We update this page as our practices evolve; the date above reflects the latest version.
