Talent Radar
Documented profiles, source by source. The Claude API and its Citations feature pin every fact to the exact passage it comes from: a claim without a source cannot enter a profile.

People × Science × AI
Matte Intelligence is building Talent Radar for executive-search teams: authorized market information turned into documented, source-linked profiles, prepared for review by professionals. The product is in development; every recommendation will remain subject to human validation.

Platform
Our first project is Talent Radar: a research tool designed to produce documented profiles and role-linked comparisons. We plan to use the Claude (Anthropic) API to assist synthesis and drafting; every source and proposal will be verified by a professional before use. The other modules below are on our roadmap.

Every recommendation comes with its reasoning: skills, culture, potential. The final shortlist belongs to the consultant.
AI proposes · Human decides
Structured interviews transcribed and analyzed; competency signals feed an evidence-based evaluation grid.
AI documents · Human evaluates
A future module for voluntary coaching: physiological indicators to support conversations with a coach. Measurement, consent and reporting remain to be defined before any pilot.

The firm
Boards and HR leaders entrust us with their most sensitive decisions: choosing a chief executive, guiding a transition, protecting the health of a leadership team.
That human core — trust, network, judgment — remains our foundation. What changes is the tool: our analytics platform, built in-house and designed to shorten research timelines, makes well-being measurable. Without ever replacing the human decision.
In 2026, this evolution reaches its accomplished form: Matte Intelligence Inc., a digital company founded by Yan Matte — the next generation of the house — to build the analytical instruments of the next generation: continuous market mapping, AI-assisted assessment, biofeedback analytics.
Meet the partnersOur approach
Every mandate draws on three complementary areas of expertise — because a career never boils down to a résumé, or to a score.
01
Identifying, approaching and supporting executives, powered by the Talent Radar: a living map of the market that shortens timelines. The shortlist is signed by a partner — never by an algorithm.
02
One-on-one support led by seasoned partners — methodological rigor paired with absolute trust. To decide with clarity, lead with precision and last in the role.
03
Biofeedback and psychophysiological coherence programs: stress becomes measurable data, progress becomes visible. A distinctive scientific practice.

Insights
Brief analyses of leadership, the science of stress and the art of choosing — drawn from our practice, not from a passing trend.
Executive exhaustion rarely announces itself as a strategy problem, yet that is how it arrives: slower judgment, a shorter temper, decisions delegated by default. The body keeps its own record of a sustained pace — disrupted sleep, a resting heart rate that will not settle, an inability to switch off between mandates.
We treat physiological load as a working condition of leadership, not a private weakness. Naming it early, in a structured conversation, leaves an executive more options than waiting for the breaking point — and gives the organization a way to act before a resignation forces the issue.
Heart-rate variability reflects how the autonomic nervous system balances load and recovery. It moves with sleep, alcohol, illness, training and stress — which makes it a useful indicator of strain, and a poor one of talent.
No number on a screen measures a person's capacity to decide. We read HRV the way a coach reads training load: as context for a conversation, never as a verdict on an individual and never as a ranking.
A few observations hold up across selection mandates: candidates arrive with polished answers to predictable questions, so the useful information lives in the follow-up. Asking how a decision was actually made — who was consulted, what almost went wrong — says more than any hypothetical.
Silence is data too. How someone handles an unexpected question, or a pause, shows their range better than a rehearsed example. None of it replaces references; it tells you what to check.
